Description
This is a Small Business Sources Sought Notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Division of Environmental Protection (DEP) has an ongoing requirement chemical waste removal. The anticipated period of performance is a one-year base period with four (1) one-year option periods. The contract type will be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, with firm fixed priced and time and material task orders.
The DEP is seeking a contractor capable of providing chemical waste removal services in accordance with the attached statement of work.
DESCRIPTION OF INFORMATION TO INCLUDE IN THE CAPABILITY STATEMENT
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 562211 Hazardous waste treatment facilities combined with collection and/or local hauling of hazardous waste) with a size standard of $41.5 million.
All interested small business concerns are invited to submit a tailored capability statement. The capability statement should reference Sources Sought Number 01-25-2023 and should be no longer than 15 pages in length and shall include the following:
(1) Name and Address of the Organization,
(2) The size and type of business: Small Business, as listed under www.sam.gov,
(3) Point of Contact with name, title, voice/telephone, facsimile number, and email address,
(4) Unique Entity Identifier,
(5) Contractor’s capability statement that addresses the organization’s ability, knowledge, experience, and personnel to perform the service described herein (Pamphlets and standard brochures will not be considered responsive to this Sources Sought Notice), and
(6) List of organizations to whom similar types of services have been previously provided to include contract number, dollar value, name, and phone number of the Contracting Officer.
This market survey is being conducted on SAM.gov to gather current market information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responding firms should email one (1) electronic copy of their capability statement to Isaac Bellamy at Isaac.Bellamy@nih.gov. In the email subject line, please include the Small Business Sources Sought Notice Number. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. THE CLOSING DATE FOR RESPONSES IS February 1, 2023 AT 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Facsimile copies will not be accepted. All questions and/or comments regarding this notice must be in writing and may be emailed to Isaac Bellamy at Isaac.Bellamy@nih.gov. Comments and questions will NOT be answered but may assist in creating a solicitation for this requirement.
