Description

THIS DESIGN BUILD PROJECT IS POSTED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THE CURRENT DHS/USCG NATIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT II (NMACC II).

This project will construct new waterfront, shore structures and utility/supporting facilities required to homeport and berth 4 NSCs at Pier November (4 dedicated berths at Pier November). The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: demolition and replacement of the existing Pier November and of damaged bulkhead, removal and backfill of contaminated soils and removal of uncontaminated underwater released aggregate. Dredging will include spoils from between Piers Mike and Papa for constructing the new Pier November as well as the removal 3 pieces of submerged equipment in the area of the collapsed bulkhead. The construction includes a new Pier November, support facilities, site/groundwork and all associated utilities. New Shore Tie service requirements for electrical, potable water, fire protection, sewer, bilge water, and compressed air services will be provided for 5 NSCs at Pier November and bulkhead mooring. In addition, a new duct bank will be installed to provide C5IT connectivity between pier Papa and Pier Mike. The new work for this project will also involve additional paving of the ground surface to provide an access road to Pier November. All future parking, buoy storage, and MAT Cutter Support Team (CST) requirements will be addressed by an on-going IDP/Master Plan. Provide all labor, material, equipment, mobilization, demobilization, permitting, construction support, quality control services, and ancillary items required for site development and construction.
