Description
PURPOSE:
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, is seeking potential sources to refurbish a service elevator at the Glen Canyon Power Plant.
This sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. This is NOT a Request for Proposals nor an Invitation for Bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the submission of contractor's information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified.
Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to this request for information will not be returned and electronic submission is required. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government or form a binding contract.

PRINCIPAL WORK COMPONENTS:
The Contractor shall provide all the expertise, labor, tools and equipment necessary to upgrade, modernize service elevator at Glen Canyon Power Plant to include replacing the following:
Hydraulic jack unit and fluids,
Controls,
Motor,
Sensors,
Traveling Cable, and
Additional Equipment as required.
The work shall also include the demolition of existing elevator.
Existing Elevator Information:
Service: Passenger
Capacity: 10,000-pounds.
Speed: 75-feet/minute
Landings: 5.
Travel: 63.75-feet.
Date of installation: 1965.
Manufacturer: Armor Elevator.
Type: Hydraulic.
Motor: Two 30 hp AC.
Glen Canyon Power Plant is approximately one mile northwest of Page in Coconino County, Arizona.
PSC, NAICS & SIZE STANDARD:
The Product Service Code (PSC) is Z2PZ - Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings. The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238920- Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a small business size standard of 19.5 million dollars.

5. Level of Bonding Capability.
