The Hybrid Thermally Efficient Core (HyTEC) Project is holding a virtual  industry day March 7th, 2022. HyTEC’s purpose is to accelerate development of the next generation turbofan engine cores to give U.S. industry a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive landscape of the aviation industry. Collaborating with U.S. aircraft engine manufacturers is a key element of the HyTEC Project’s success. A Request for Information (RFI) was issued to solicit input from industry on the technology priority areas, cost, schedule, and partnering approach for the project Phase 2 Core Demonstration. Industry day is an opportunity for HyTEC to share initial plans and hold one-on-one meetings to answer questions and get feedback from industry on NASA’s plan. RFI responses and industry day inform NASA and its potential partners in targeting the most fruitful technologies for NASA involvement in terms of contributions from NASA experts, facilities, and funding.

Registration is now open. Please visit the following website to register https://nari.arc.nasa.gov/hytec-industry-day-2022.  To request for an one-on-one session, please submit a request to ian.park@nasa.gov with a list of attendees by 12:00PM, Friday March 4th, ET. Individual meeting invitation/link will be provided to each request.

For the RFI, please see attachment. In case of any discrepancies (response due date, etc.) between contents in SAM and the attachment, updates made on SAM shall take precedence."
