The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground - Natick Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Solider Center (DEVCOM-SC), intends to award on a brand name, sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements; a Firm Fixed Price contract is being sought with OCLC, Inc. for their OCLC Catalog Library Subscription. This subscription can only be provided by OCLC, Inc., as they have unique capabilities that provide scientists cataloging and metadata tools that are needed to effectively manage physical and electronic resources. Their automated metadata services and industry partnerships eliminate redundant steps, saving time and money for our researchers, and do not offer it through any third-party retailer. Natick Contracting Division anticipates awarding this contract to OCLC, Inc., 6565 Kilgour Place, Dublin, OH, 43017, United States.
