FIA PLOTS NORTHERN IDAHO

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This solicitation is issued as an _Request for Quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. This procurement is set aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $11.5.

The work of this contract encompasses field-based vegetation sampling of forested and non-forested condition inventory plots across the Rocky Mountain Research Station. It includes, but is not limited to locating, monumenting, and photographing plots and conducting inventories of trees, shrubs, forbs, grass, collecting tree cores, and setting characteristics using a variety of protocols in the RMRS FIA P2 Field Procedures

Offerors are encouraged to read this package in its entirety any and all questions must be submitted in writing to Rochelle Infante at Rochelle.Infante@usda.gov by 5:00pm MD on 8/8/2024. The government reserves the right to answer only questions it deems necessary i.e should the answer reside in the solicitation already no answer will be given. All questions must be submitted via email to Rochelle Infante, rochelle.infante@usda.gov and will be answered as an ammendment to the solicitation so as to ensure that no one offeror has more information than any other offeror. Vendors are responsible for acknowledging all amendments.
