Description

The United States Postal Service (USPS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking to award a contract to a Supplier who will provide research and analysis to compare the USPS’s current fleet operations environment against optimal infrastructure adjustments necessary to maintain the Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDVs). In addition, the Supplier must provide a benchmark study to identify industry best practices related to fleet transitions. Based on research and analysis results, the Supplier will also produce a report with key observations that will show how the USPS could benefit from industry best practices or identify improvements to its current fleet operations to prepare for the NGDVs. The OIG intends to use these results and other information in an audit report showing the results of this and other efforts.
