Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY – The Bureau of Reclamation, Office located in Denver, Colorado has a requirement for the utilization of trained canines to detect leaks in water pipelines.
Reclamation seeks a Contractor to prepare a proposal to complete two (2) surveys to detect and locate leaks in buried water pipelines using one or more trained canine(s) at the following locations:
a) Survey #1: Mni Wiconi Core Pipeline in Pierre, South Dakota
b) Survey #2: The Ute laterals on Ute Mountain Reservation near Cortez, Colorado.
This Pre-solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Bureau of Reclamation is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.
Responses to the Pre-solicitation Notice will not be returned. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to continue to monitor the Beta Sam Opportunities (www.betasam.gov) site.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Service Office, Denver, Colorado plans to award a Firm Fixed Price with a period of performance from the date of award to February 20, 2025.
This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity. This office plans to post a solicitation on or about March 14, 2024.
