Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Single Source Purchase Order to PwC Product Sales LLC

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to PwC Product Sales LLC, 4040 W BOYSCOUT BLVD, Tampa FL 33607-5750, for subscription to the Viewpoint, published by PwC Product Sales LLC, a subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Viewpoint is a comprehensive online library of accounting and financial disclosure literature, including interpretive guidance, and current publications on financial reporting matters, an online database of  authoritative  information on accounting, auditing, and reporting standards, commentary and analysis, for the United States and internationally. These materials are under copyright to the publisher, and therefore not available from any other source. PricewaterhouseCoopers provides access to its own Accounting and Reporting Manual and Implementation Guides that are unavailable from any other source. The Contracting Officer has determined that PwC Product Sales LLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b).

The anticipated period of performance will be a base period of 12 months with four (4) option periods.

The SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b). Interested sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposals, or quotations.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation or additional information will be made available with regard to this sole source notice.
