DESCRIPTION

Maritime Administration (MARAD) intends to acquire and award on a sole source basis the services of AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL PUMPS INC., 546 BLISS AVE, PITTSBURG, CA 94565 USA REGARDING SUSIAN BAY RESERVE FLEET (SBRF) DUPLEX GRINDER BASIN PUMP SYSTEM REPLACEMENT FY24, LOCATED IN BENICIA, CA.  The Government intends to solicit the proposed purchase order or contract for services with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. REFERENCE JUSTIFICATION ATTACHED.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order or contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
