Description
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) appreciates the feedback received in response to the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) A&AS Recompete Request for Information (RFI) which was posted on www.sam.gov under Notice ID: HDTRA1_RFI_CTR_AAS_Recompete and is ready to welcome interested parties to Industry Day.
DTRA has scheduled the CTR A&AS Industry Day for 21 October 2024 at the Kabeiseman Conference Room, which is located within the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) headquarters next to DTRA at 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, with a virtual option likely using Microsoft Teams. Both in-person and virtual participation is restricted to US citizens; however, a security clearance is not required as no classified information will be discussed. In-person attendance is limited to two individuals per company.
If you are interested in participating in Industry Day, register by navigating to the link below and selecting “2024 CT A&AS Industry Day”: https://osbp.my.site.com/EventRegistration/s/
Additionally, send an email to dtra.belvoir.ct.mbx.aas-recompete@mail.mil with a list of the attendees for your company (names and email addresses), clearing identifying how each is attending (in-person or virtually).
Registration and the follow-up email are due by 1100am EST on 15 October 2024 to give DTRA sufficient time to process visit access requests for all in-person attendees.
The Government intends to post the list of attendees (individual participant names, email addresses and company names) to encourage teaming.
The goals of this event are to provide an overview of the DTRA and CTR missions, review the draft requirement, provide insight into responses from the RFI and share answers to some questions received, inform industry on potential acquisition strategy details, share the tentative acquisition timeline, and allow time for questions.
Following this event, the Government intends to host one-on-one meetings with industry partners. The schedule for those has not yet been determined so, while those meetings are available in the aforementioned link, please refrain from registering for those at this time. DTRA also anticipates there may be a second Industry Day after the initial event. The purpose of these industry days is to provide additional information on the A&AS requirement and give industry an opportunity to seek further information on the acquisition.
Additional information regarding these opportunities will be posted as subsequent modifications to this notice on www.sam.gov.
