7/24/2024:  The purpose of this modification is to incorporate questions and answers 3 through 4 as follows:

QUESTION #3:  Is there historical data you can share for estimated volume of returns from previous years?

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE #3: No data available. We destroy medications through Rx Destroyer .

QUESTION #4: Is there historical and estimated volume of pharmaceutical waste you can share? 

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE #4: Copies of destructions for the past year are hereby incorporated into this notice as Q and A Attachments A through C. This is medication that we would like to be able to process for returns .

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

1. Extend the response due date through July 26, 2024, at 10AM CDT to allow time for the Governent to respond to pending industry questions.

7/18/2024:  The purpose of this modification is to:

1. Remove the requirement to complete ATTACHMENT 3 - NOTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH INSURANCE REQUIREMENT, from page 26 of the solicitation, and remove ATTACHMENT 3 from 'SECTION D - CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, EXHIBITS, OR ATTACHMENTS' of the solicitation.  

2. Extend the response due date through July 23, 2024, at 10AM CDT to allow time for the Governent to respond to pending industry questions. 

3.  All other terms and conditions remain in full force and effect.

7/12/2024:  The purpose of this modification is to incorporate questions and answers 1 through 2 as follows:

QUESTION #1:  Regarding the requirement that the contractor shall be a DEA registered vendor. Can the contractor be an independent contractor of a business that is a DEA registered vendor ? Or can the contractor be a partner of the business subcontracted for handling the drugs who is a DEA registered vendor?

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE #1:  The contractor (Reverse Distributor) itself needs to be a DEA registered vendor.

QUESTION #2:  Is this a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services?  If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE #2:  This would be a new contract.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
