                                                                      REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST.

Notice of Sources Sought:

*Crane Support Services

This requirement is to provide crane support services for loading and offloading capabilities of HVAC units, electrical transformers, fuel tank and other heavy materials at various locations aboard the MCAGCC 29 Palms installation. The contractor will provide port to port crane support with qualified certified operator and rigger. All heavy equipment shall be safe and fully operational. Period of Performance will be 01 JUN 2024 through 31 MAY 2025.

The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (i.e.Small/Large business, HUBzone, 8(a), etc.). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this request for information, nor any subsequent exchanges.

The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 with an associated U.S. Small Business Administration size standard of $19.0 mil. The anticipated Product Service Code (PSC) is W039.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Interested contractors may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received by POC via email no later than Friday 1:00 PM (pst), 12 April 2024.
Place of performance: Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twenty-nine Palms CA 92278


Note: In Accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 9.104-1: To be determined responsible, a prospective contractor must:
(a)Have adequate financial resources to perform the contract, or the ability to obtain them

(d)Have a satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics
(e)Have the necessary organization, experience, accounting and operational controls, andtechnical skills, or the ability to obtain them (including, as appropriate, such elements asproduction control procedures, property control systems, quality assurance measures, andsafety programs applicable to materials to be produced or services to be performed by the prospective contractor and subcontractors).
(f)Have the necessary production, construction, and technical equipment and facilities,or the ability to obtain them; and
(g)Be otherwise qualified and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations.
