Amendment 02- The purpose of this amendment is to provide updated site visit information for Industry Day. Specifically, the In-Person venue and site visit have been cancelled. We will still be hosting a Virtual Industry Day Presentation, to include a fly-over of the site, on February 1, 2023. See the additional below information for details:

INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION UPDATE - 26 JAN 23

This announcement provides an update on details for the upcoming Industry Day for the Proctor Dam Safety Modification project. Specifically, the In-Person venue and site visit have been cancelled. We will still be hosting a Virtual Industry Day Presentation, to include a fly-over of the site, on February 1, 2023:

• From 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (CST) USACE, Fort Worth District, will present the scope of the project, as well as address specific inquiries; attendees will be provided with an opportunity to ask questions. This presentation will be virtually only.  
  • Submit request to james.e.urbon@usace.army.mil with a Cc to sharon.v.leheny@usace.army.mil
  • Subject line must read: Req To Attend Proctor Industry Day Virtual
  • Confirmation, to include attendance details, will be sent to firms requesting attendance.
  • Requests need to be submitted no later than 1:00 p.m. (CST) on January 31, 2023. 

NOTE: If you’ve previously requested to attend virtually you have no further action. If you’ve previously submitted a request to attend in-person you will be contacted to confirm availability/willingness to participate in the virtual session.

ALL inquiries and questions related to this Industry Day are to be submitted as separate submittals via Bidder’s Inquiry in ProjNet at https://www.projnet.org. Bidder’s Inquiry will remain open for 48 hours after the conclusion of the industry day. If the Government determines to respond to an inquiry submitted in ProjNet, the answer will be posted in for all interested parties to review. Enter only one question per entry. If multiple questions are entered per inquiry, the inquiry will not be acknowledged.

The Government is very interested in speaking with prime construction contractors and/or subcontractors with biopolymer trench experience and will host virtual one-on-one meetings by appointment from 2-3 February 2023. These meetings are intended to allow interested firms to provide feedback on design that may be proprietary or otherwise inappropriate for ProjNet publication and therefore will not be a question-and-answer format. The Government will not answer questions or share additional design clarification during one-on-one discussions. Interested firms shall:

• Submit a request via email to terry.hardin@usace.army.mil with a Cc to bonifacio.magdaleno@usace.army.mil
• The following information must be provided in the email to be considered for an appointment: a statement of interest in the project, a description of any recent and relevant experience they have, and a capabilities statement. Additionally, please advise if you would like to participate virtually or in person.
• Only firms selected will be notified.
• If selected, firms shall be prepared to discuss the questions attached to this notification during their one-one-one sessions with the Government.
• Requests need to be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. (CST) on January 31, 2023.
