Description

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends award the N00019-22-F-2036 Singapore Training Course on a sole source basis to Raytheon Technologies Corporation, Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT to participate in supporting Singaporean technicians and engineers in understanding the F135 propulsion systems, manage the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-35 fleet, evaluate risks, and support airworthiness decisions.This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Raytheon Technologies Corporation, Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F135 propulsion system. The BOA Order award is anticipated in the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY22 and supports the Singapore Ministry of Defense (MINDEF) F-35 program. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement action on a sole source basis.
